Spotlight on ABC Member

Vicky Johnson, holy matrimony, while new to the association is not new to wedding planning. Vicky has been planning weddings for over 15 years. she recently relocated to this area and immediately started learning new vendors, designing her website and volunteering to help the association in any way. At hr first meeting she served as a roundtable leader and then volunteered to write an article for the newsletter.

Vicky decided to showcase her business, which includes not only bridal consulting but wedding flowers and favors, at the Bridal Showcase in Greenbelt, Maryland in September and it was a huge success for her. She booked seven weddings and gave out over 300 business cards.

During the month of September, iVillage.com asked Vicky to moderate a three week series on marketing your bridal business for their Wedding Professionals message board.
